7.4 Late Payments
Late payments may be subject to interest charges and/or late fees as specified in your project contract. We reserve the right to suspend work on any project if payments are not made in accordance with the agreed-upon payment schedule.
8. Project Contracts and Construction Services
8.1 Separate Contracts
The construction, installation, repair, or renovation of any deck, fence, porch, pergola, or other outdoor structure will be governed by a separate written contract between you and the Company. These Terms do not replace or supersede the terms of any such project contract.
8.2 Permits and Approvals
Many construction projects require permits from local authorities and/or approval from homeowners associations (HOAs). Unless otherwise specified in your project contract:
- We will assist in obtaining necessary permits for your project
- Permit fees are typically included in the project cost but may be billed separately
- You are responsible for obtaining any necessary HOA approvals
- You are responsible for ensuring that your project complies with any HOA covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs)
- Delays in obtaining permits or approvals may affect the project timeline
8.3 Site Access and Conditions
By engaging our Services, you agree to:
- Provide us with reasonable access to the project site during normal working hours
- Ensure that the project site is reasonably accessible and safe for our workers and equipment
- Disclose any known hazards, underground utilities, or other conditions that may affect the project
- Remove or secure any personal property, landscaping, or other items that may be affected by the construction
8.4 Changes and Change Orders
Any changes to the scope of work after the contract is signed must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. Change orders may affect the project cost and timeline. We are not responsible for any delays or additional costs resulting from changes requested by you.
8.5 Warranties
Specific warranties for construction projects will be detailed in your project contract. Generally, we provide:
- A workmanship warranty covering defects in our labor
- Manufacturer warranties on materials (as provided by the manufacturer)
Warranty terms, duration, and exclusions will be specified in your project contract. Warranties do not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, misuse, acts of nature, or modifications made by others.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Company Intellectual Property
The Website and its entire contents, features, and functionality, including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, audio, photographs, graphics, design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by the Company, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

SMS Opt-Out Instructions. You may opt out of receiving SMS/text messages from Go To Guy Home Services LLC at any time. To stop receiving text messages, you can: (i) reply “STOP”, “UNSUBSCRIBE”, “CANCEL”, “END”, or “QUIT” to any text message you receive from us; (ii) contact us by email at kelly@gotoguyatl.com with your request to be removed from our SMS list; (iii) call us at (470) 594-4100 and request to be removed; or (iv) submit a written request to our mailing address listed below. Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will confirm your removal from our SMS list with a final confirmation message. Please allow up to 48 hours for your opt-out request to be fully processed. Opting out of SMS communications will not affect your ability to receive other communications from us, such as emails, and will not affect any services you have requested or purchased from us.
Message Frequency and Data Rates. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and may include responses to your inquiries, appointment confirmations, service reminders, and promotional messages. Typically, you may receive between 2-10 messages per month, though frequency may increase during active projects or promotional periods. Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data charges from your mobile carrier will apply to all text messages sent and received. These charges will appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your specific text messaging plan and any applicable charges. Go To Guy Home Services LLC is not responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier.
Carrier Liability Disclaimer. Go To Guy Home Services LLC and mobile carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and all other carriers) are not liable for any delays, failures to deliver, or errors in the content of any SMS/text messages sent as part of our messaging program. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and network availability. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. We make no guarantee that text messages will be delivered to you or that messages will be delivered in a timely manner.
